~RIBBIT RIBBIT~ The Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve has a high diversity of frogs, with over 80 species of amphibians including: the endangered Malabar gliding frog (Rhacophorus malabaricus), Winged Gliding frog (Rhacophorus lateralis), Nilgiris Wart Frog (Minervarya nilagirica), Raorchestes silentvalley, Raorchestes indigo, Nilgiri Bush Frog (Raorchestes tinniens), Star Eyed Tree Frog (Ghatixalus asterops), the Indian bullfrog (Hoplobatrachus tigerinus)... and the list goes on and on!

Many frogs are indicator species of ecosystem health, because of their sensitivity to forest changes. Here in Kotagiri, we see lots of these frogs in our neighboring Longwood Shola (the last and only urban shola in the Nilgiris).

This sticker is a psychedelically-colored celebration of our Nilgiri sholas and sharing our home with so many frogs!

This sticker is a part of our new collection of Last Forest stickers, in celebration and pride of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve! This is our first batch, so let us know what you think!

Diameter of 7 cm; matte paper sticker.

This sticker is hand-cut, so inconsistencies may occur.
