Toda Wall-hanging
Handwoven by the women of the Toda community from the Nilgiri hills, this wall hanging brings the quiet strength of an ancient culture into your living space. The bold red base is accented with traditional black and white geometric motifs, patterns that have been passed down through generations and are deeply rooted in Toda identity.
Each piece is carefully woven on handlooms, finished with tassels and a wooden dowel for easy hanging. The motifs symbolise harmony with nature, mountains, and pastoral life, echoing the slow, mindful rhythm of the Nilgiris.
Perfect as a statement wall accent, this wall hanging adds warmth, texture, and a story to your home, while supporting indigenous artisans and their living traditions.
