In 2007 the first Bee Museum in India was established. Later, in 2015 Last Forest Enterprises decided to add another interesting layer to the Bee Museum, apart from one of the Green Shops that is located there, a Bee Museum restaurant was launched.
Place to Bee is not only a restaurant but a social enterprise that builds capacity of local and community people. We promote the values of Slow Food Principles and connects the Bee Museum activities through our wider Keystone work with consumers, producers, culture, ecological realities and challenges.
Slow Food is a concept that was founded in Italy and it gives importance to locally produced good, clean and fair food. It safeguards agricultural biodiversity at risk of extinction and gives visibility and the proper value to the supplying producers.
